more adventures

So of course my flight was delayed again last night. and of course it was annoying. and to top it off, my flight from Philly to SF contained the entire penn state women's softball team. i hope none of my readers are offended when i say this but DEAR GOD they were so annoying. they were playing 'mafia' (you know that game where you all close your eyes and basically scream at eachother to try to figure out who is the mafia?), they were yelling at top volume, they were braiding hair, bragging about how good the team is, etc. this lasted for approximately 3 hours. it was SO annoying.

Good things that happened:
1. the nice steward (is that what he's called? a male flight attendant?) gave me a free mini-bottle of red wine. a small price to pay for having to sit with the irritating team.
2. the movie was the new james bond. which i can watch over and over and not get tired of.
3. they now offer ANTM (americas next top model) for download on itunes, so i watched that
4. the usair terminal at PHL is way nicer than the united terminal.

Lets see - I am in SF now, leaving around lunchtime to begin my drive!!! for those of you who dont know, i'm moving to denver. today. ha. it was a very spur of the moment decision, so dont ask me any deep philosophical questions about my decision, because i wont have an answer. i'll be living with Cara in a cute little apartment. i'll still be travelling, so i bet my life wont be all that different (except that i'll be going to/from denver instead of SFO)

also - please see this. amazing!! it's all gummi bears!!! http://www.yayachou.com/sculptures/gummi_chandelier.htm

anything else? then let the list continue.
#6 - people who have rollerbags that are the size of a lunchbox. i'm serious. COME ON...PICK IT UP. must you roll that dinky little thing around the terminal and get in everyone's way?

Endless - with all your travels, would you ever consider joining a registered traveler program at Denver to get through security quicker? I've been writing about airports that are adding this program, which targets road warriors like you. The jury is still out on whether they really save any time at security. Denver International Airport is in the process of choosing a vendor for its program.
